Cbank says puts Tinkoff on systemically important banks list

MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank has put Tinkoff Bank on the systemically important banks list expanding it to 13, the regulator said in a statement on Monday.

“Tinkoff Bank JSC has become a new member of the list of systemically important credit institutions in 2021. The decision was made taking into account … its active growth that exceeds market average significantly, and an extensive client base,” the regulator said.

Now the list includes 13 banks that make up for 77% of the Russia’s banking sector.
